We were born as a pharmaceutical laboratory with the construction of our first production plant.
Our name honors Karl Landsteiner, an Austrian doctor who typified blood groups and the RH factor.
2000
Two years after our start, the construction of the Landsteiner Technology Center (CELAN 1) proceeds with the solids area.
2002
COFEPRIS granted the Sanitary License to CELAN 1.
We started the manufacturing process of generic drugs for the IMSS.
We established our corporate office in the Zafiro Tower in Mexico City.
2005
We were certified in Quality Management Systems with the ISO-9001-2000 standard.
We began the production of semi-solids in CELAN 1
We obtained the sanitary license for the manufacture of biotechnology and antiretrovirals.
2007
We obtained INVIMA and Clean Industry certification from PROFEPA.
2009
We started the production of immunosuppressants and parentals in CELAN 1.
We positioned ourselves in the Top 5 of sale in the public sector and entered the private market with the launch of the Elite Medical line.
2010
We started the production of glargine insulin, top product of the laboratory.
CNN Expansión gave us the “Manufacturer of the Year” recognition.
2011
We began construction of the new Landsteiner Technology Center 2 in the Toluca 2000 Industrial Park.
2013
We acquired the company Neopharm Obesity, headquarter in Seville, Spain for the development and research of genomic medicine.
2015
We inaugurated the Landsteiner Technology Center 2, a pharmaceutical plant with a production capacity of more than 1,000 million pieces per year.
In the following months, CELAN 2 obtained the certification of Good Manufacturing Practices – COFEPRIS.
2016
We obtained the Socially Responsible Company badge and the designation as Great Place to Work.
During the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, we supported Mexican Paralympic athletes.
2018
Committed to quality and the environment, CELAN 2 Good Manufacturing Practices from COFEPRIS.
2019
We consolidated our portfolio of antiretrovirals with the launch of Goltrec®.
COFEPRIS recognized SERALIS VIP as a reference medicine in Mexico.

Pioneers in Mexican herbal research, we began the development of herbal medicines, fungi and supplements.
